Jana Kramer, an actor and singer-songwriter who is a specialist in country music and songwriting rose to prominence on television after she was cast as Alex during the final three seasons on One Tree Hill. The show showcased her first albums as country music which helped her debut album on the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. The follow-up 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten.
