Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan) was the daughter of Wayne David Cardellini (a businessman) in Redwood City. She is Italian (from paternal grandsons), Irish (from a mother), German and English. Linda lived in San Francisco Bay region, California being the eldest of her four brothers. As a ten-year-old old, Linda became fascinated with acting following her performance in the role of a singer during her school's Christmas play. The school play she performed in was and local community theatre. Linda was a student at Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, California. Following her graduation, she was required to choose between going into New York to pursue theater or Los Angeles to pursue film and television. The choice was LA. Linda was cast first as a character in Bone Chillers (1996). Her breakthrough part came when she was cast on Freaks and Geeks (1999). Lindsay Weir was her character in the Emmy-winning show.

Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (born 5 April 1989), better known by her stage name Lily James, is an English actress from the UK. She received her training at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama and began her acting career with the British TV show Just William (2010). Her breakthrough came in 2015 when she played the role of lead in Cinderella which was a film about fantasy. The actress previously appeared as the role of Lady Rose MacClare as part of the period drama Downton Abbey. James was then cast as Countess Natasha Rostova as part of the television adaption of War & Peace (2016). Also, she appeared in numerous films including Baby Driver (2017) and The Dig -2021. We Go Back Again (2018) as well as Yesterday (2019). Pam & Tommy, a biographical television series based on Pamela Anderson's life Pamela Anderson (released in 2022) has earned her nominations as a Golden Globe Award winner and an Primetime Emmy Award.
