Alesha Dixon

Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, known as Camila Cabello, is a Cuban-American actress, singer, and songwriter. Born on March 3, 1997, in Coj mar, Havana, Cuba, she gained fame as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony before establishing herself as a solo artist. Her collaborations with Shawn Mendes and Machine Gun Kelly, "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and "Bad Things," respectively, reached number four on the US Billboard Hot 100. Cabello left Fifth Harmony in 2016 and released her debut solo single, "Crying in the Club." In 2018, Cabello's debut studio album, "Camila," reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart and received a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Her lead single, "Havana," topped charts in many countries, including the US and UK, and "Never Be the Same" reached the top ten in many countries. In 2019, her duet with Mendes, "Se orita," became her second single to top the Billboard Hot 100. Her second studio album, "Romance" (2019), topped the Billboard 200 chart and reached number one in Canada. In 2021, Cabello made her acting debut in the film "Cinderella." Cabello grew up in East Havana and moved to Miami, Florida, with her mother when she was six years old. Her father, Alejandro Cabello, was born in Mexico City and is Mexican. She attended Miami Palmetto High School but left in the 2012-2013 school year to pursue her singing career. She gained American citizenship in 2008. Cabello has a younger sister named Sofia and is currently dating Canadian singer Shawn Mendes. As of 2023, Cabello's net worth is $20 million, accumulated through her singing, songwriting, and acting career. She has collaborated with Pitbull for "Hey Ma" and was part of The Fate of the Furious soundtrack with J Balvin. She is also a philanthropist and a partner with Save the Children and has donated to various GoFundMe campaigns and non-profit organizations.
